Architectural Stewardship
Estate Advisory & Owner’s Representation
With many years of experience designing and managing complex residential projects, my training and experience in residential architecture has grown beyond design and construction alone to include a deep appreciation for significant residential estates of diverse architectural styles and time periods.

I am interested in both the academic and the prosaic aspects of these properties — from their architectural history, composition, and long-term evolution to the practical realities of maintaining, adapting, and caring for them over time. Through years of coordinating complex residential work, I have developed both the affinity and technical knowledge to thoughtfully steward these types of properties, helping homeowners make informed decisions, assemble the right teams, and preserve the quality, integrity, continuity, and character of their homes over time.
Approach
Long-Term Property Guidance
For homeowners with substantial or multi-structure properties, architectural needs often extend beyond a single remodel or addition. LSH Architects offers ongoing advisory, planning, and owner’s representation services for clients who want experienced architectural guidance over time — from helping properties evolve thoughtfully over time while maintaining architectural continuity and long-term design integrity.
Perspective
Why Work with an Architect in This Role?
Large residential properties require more than routine property management. Seemingly simple decisions about repairs, drainage, windows, roofing, site structures, or interiors can affect the long-term value, function, and character of the home. An architect brings a broader perspective — understanding design, construction, permitting, consultant coordination, and how individual decisions fit into the larger long-term vision for the property.
Clients
Owners of Significant Residential Properties
This service is designed for homeowners who own larger or more complex properties, including estates with guest houses, pool houses, ADUs, accessory structures, extensive landscapes, aging infrastructure, or phased improvement needs. It may be especially useful for clients who are busy, live part-time in the home, manage multiple properties, or simply want a trusted design professional overseeing decisions on their behalf.

This role is not a replacement for a licensed contractor or estate manager, but a design-informed layer of professional oversight focused on quality, continuity, and sound decision-making.
